Jeff’s expertise shines in managing the complete product lifecycle and highlighting the ‘voice of the customer’ by actively engaging with them on the production floor to understand and address their challenges directly.

Tom Perdue is a seasoned mechanical engineer with over 30 years of experience working with conveying technologies for the food processing industry. He graduated from the University of Maryland with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and went on to earn master’s degrees in both mechanical engineering and management from the same institution. Throughout his career, Tom has focused on belts and chains, specializing in the design of component stresses, failures, and ratings. Currently serving as the Product Development Manager at Regal Rexnord, he has dedicated his expertise to developing products for the food industry, particularly spiral conveyors.

Leo Cornelissen, a seasoned Product Development Engineer at Regal Rexnord with 23 years of R&D experience, specializes in plastic and metal conveyance chains and belts. He develops custom solutions addressing customer needs in feed rates, friction, noise reduction, and chemical resistance. Leo’s comprehensive approach includes 2D and 3D conceptual designs, prototyping (including 3D printed models), and rigorous in-house testing for parameters like strength and stiffness. Holding an engineering degree from MTS University, Leo is a lifelong learner with expertise in sound engineering, 3D design, and materials science. His recent impactful work in food and beverage includes innovative designs for spiral belt chains, enhancing operational efficiency across container types.
