Shopping at a novelties store last weekend, I ran across this puzzle, which apparently involves as many as seven nails. (That’s how many straight nails you can see in the packaging, not counting the two bent ones on the left side.) Seeing this puzzle raised a question in my mind:

How many nails does it take to solve all of life’s puzzles?

The answer? Only three.
